My Favorite Festival

There are so many holidays today. Did you know that day, February 7th is
“Send a card to a friend day” and “Wave all your fingers at your friend’s day?” Of course these
aren’t really highly celebrated days. There are all of the more important holidays such as the
Naadam, Woman’s Day, Tsagaan Sar, Christmas, and so on. They are important but
they are not my favorite and I don’t look forward to them all year. New Year is my favorite
Holiday and it is really the only one that isn’t just another day to me.
New Year celebrate that next year is coming. The day is shaped by different customs and traditions. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way. The city Erdenet, which is located in Mongolia, is the place of my birth. This is a place where all my childhood memories came from. The city has its own way to celebrate New Year. The people preparation begins by buying presents, decorating tree, and making new costumes. The New Year Tree, which is one of the exciting things for children and adults, is the object that you can see in every house during the holiday. The all family takes participation in decorating a tree, with toys, cording and different New Years lights. It saw wonderful and very beautiful…
My warmest memory is associated with this day. I love my grandma, she didn’t live with my family and I met her rarely time. I wished, “I stay my grandma in whole day, please…” Then, I noticed in the New Year eve, it’s incarnated.
